Richard Susskind and Company are delighted to announce that Challenger House, 40 Adler Street E1 has been let in its entirety. The building, comprising 56,000 ft ² over Lower Ground, Ground and four upper floors has been let to Qbic Hotels.
Located close to Brick Lane and Commercial Street, the property is in the heart of one of London’s new hotspots for redevelopment. Within walking distance from the City, the area still has the East End charm which has proved so popular in recent years. In all likelihood the buzz around E1 will only increase. With changes to the area such as the upgrading of Whitechapel station to benefit from Crossrail, as well as the future redevelopment of the Royal London Hospital site, the area looks certain to increase in value.
Qbic have grown in popularity due to their Amsterdam hotel which offers simple hotel rooms at low prices, or in their words “cheap chic and no frills”. This will be their first London hotel, and we wish them the best of luck.
Richard Susskind and Company, Newton Perkins and Paul Belchak and Company acted for Schroders and Appley Properties. BNP Paribas acted for Qbic hotels.
