Forget the Euros – today we’re more concerned with the Davis Coffer Lyons and Estates Gazette ‘Property Chef of the Year’ competition. Now in its fourteenth year, the annual event saw the biggest names in property agents fight it out at Jamie Oliver’s new restaurant Union Jacks in Central St Giles, Tottenham Court Road.
This year Richard Susskind & Company were represented by David Toubian and Lauren Leach from our Retail & Leisure department. David, who won the award back in 2007, was particularly determined to bring home the trophy.
Our contenders were put through a series of British themed rounds, including a cocktail making round, a knowledge test and a pizza/flatbread invention competition. Clearly the judges were impressed with Lauren’s ‘Rhubarb and Custard Crumble’ cocktail and David’s ‘Jacks-on Pollock’ pizza as the team sailed through to the finals and then went on beat Davis Coffer Lyons and Selsian leisure property consultants – a fantastic result!
